Psychological Health Associates is a multi-disciplinary and multi-specialty behavioral healthcare practice with offices in West Hartford and Danbury, Connecticut USA, with affiliated offices throughout Connecticut.

PHA currently has twenty licensed or certified clinicians, including psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, substance abuse counselors, psychiatrists, professional counselors and employee assistance professionals. In addition to providing traditional outpatient psychological services, Psychological Health Associates offers a full range of outpatient addictions services, including Internet and sex addiction, along with a wide variety of group, family, child, and marriage counseling services. PHA also has a new Divorce Mediation Program to help decrease the stresses of an adversarial divorce. In addition, PHA has added an outpatient program for anxiety disorders, The Connecticut Center for Anxiety Disorders.

In addition to providing therapeutic services, Psychological Health Associates provides a full range of diagnostic services, including drug and alcohol abuse evaluations, child custody evaluations, neuropsychological assessments, as well as traditional psychological testing and medication evaluations.

PHA's treatment philosophy is to provide brief, solution-focused care utilizing a goal-directed orientation; we recognize that every individual is unique and attempt to provide the most appropriate services on an individualized basis. We pride ourselves on maintaining a family-practice orientation, where we work with children, parents, couples, individuals, families, and groups as each situation calls for, providing the most cost-effective and appropriate level of care. PHA is an active provider for most insurance and managed care companies in Connecticut.

Psychological Health Associates is always seeking to develop more effective and efficient treatment strategies. Toward this end, we have developed skills and expertise in Solution-Focused Therapy, hypnosis, group therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). In addition to providing direct clinical services, we have begun to provide training opportunities both for clinicians and in the corporate area.
