Groups

Psychological Health Associates offers several groups. For more information, contact PHA.

Parenting and Divorce Education: Groups are scheduled approximately every weeks, and held in our Danbury office location. Please contact Sheila Levine at 203-794-1044, ext. 16 for further information or to register for one of the groups. Fee: $100.00 for the hour group.

Men's Psychotherapy Group: This group focuses on a variety on issues and concerns for men, including but not limited to: Addictions, anger management, intimacy, marriage and relationships, children, money, sex, communication, personal growth, and career concerns. This group is currently meeting on an on-going basis. Individuals are asked to make a 3 month minimum commitment. The group meets on Wednesdays, from 5:15-6:30 PM in the West Hartford office. Fee: $65.00 per group session, payable monthly.

Relapse Prevention Group: This group focuses on developing strategies for preventing relapse from addiction problems. This includes alcohol, drugs, compulsive eating, smoking, and other addictive behaviors. The group leader is Dr. John Matuszewski who can be reached at 860-233-9772, ext. 22. The group will be meeting weekly on Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 PM in the West Hartford office. Fee: $40.00 per group session with pre-payment of 4 sessions.

Women's Psychotherapy and Personal Growth Group: This group is led by Dr. Marci Korwin covers issues related to family, relationships, intimacy, work, conflict resolution, assertiveness, sexuality, and balancing multiple roles. Dr. Korwin can be reached at 860-233-9772, ext. 18. The group meets on Mondays from 4:00-5:15 PM in the West Hartford office. Fee: $60.00 per session.
